Education & Cultural Preservation

At Tribal Hope, we believe that education is the key to building a bright future. Our sustainable model empowers children, by giving them courses on:

  1. Financial literacy
  2. Vocational skills
  3. Native culture and language

We know that it “takes a village to raise a child”. By helping students gain a financial education,  vocational skills, as well as cultural courses, we believe that the children will also help raise the villages to greater heights!

Bringing Financial Literacy into Classrooms

Financial literacy curriculum extends beyond traditional academics and encompasses an essential component. We believe in equipping students with crucial skills that will empower them to navigate their financial future and build a secure foundation. By integrating financial literacy into the schools curriculum, we provide students with practical knowledge and tools to make informed financial decisions, manage their resources effectively, and plan for long-term success. This comprehensive approach ensures that students not only excel academically but also possess the necessary skills for financial independence and a brighter future.

Bringing Vocational Training into Classrooms

Vocational skills curriculum also extends beyond traditional academics. By integrating vocational training into the schools curriculum, we provide students with tools to have the ability to find jobs right out of high school or even create jobs and/or businesses. Those skills will provide growth for themselves, their family, and even the tribal communities. Creating vocational jobs and/or businesses within the native communities will encourage families to stay together instead of forcing people to leave in order to find work.

Bringing Native language and Cultural courses into Classrooms

The Native American cultures and language are a rich tapestry of their history. It is a beautiful culture that inspires people from around the world.  Unfortunately, many tribes are seeing their language and culture disappearing as their families leave their communities to find work, sometimes never to return. By creating a school to teach their language and cultural practices, it will foster a love of their vibrant history and will keep that culture alive. When the rising generation knows and appreciates their culture, that history will remain for the foreseeable future, and uplift the tribe.
